I'm currently an associate and looking at my next career move. Given I want to be a career banker, Centerview seems like an ideal landing spot. Do they tend to hire laterally? Unfortunately I don't personally know anyone there.

Yes. They did not recruit for Associate positions at my business school, but I know two Associates who have lateraled there over the past couple years.

I’ve seen some lateral moves at associate level. And I believe they hire quite a few post mba associates from Columbia MBA. (Effron)
Ditto this. A lot seem to be CBS alum (not sure if there's a correlation or just a coincidence)
Seen a handful of CS/Barclay guys lateral as per LinkedIn. So doesn't have to be a top BB.

yeah just not from evr bc they have a handshake deal to not compete for talent.
