Does GS recruit FT
Wondering if GS only takes in analysts from kids who did summer internships there. Same question goes for JP and MS.

Career Resources
They do "Analyst 2"
Short Answer: No, they all do FT recruitment. In more detail, the Analysts classes are mostly populated by interns, although this differs by geography and division.
Every firm recruits FT- however GS/JPM/MS usually have very little spots to fill since their SA classes are very strong and usually accept their offers
From what I've seen those firms give out offers to 60% - 80% of their class implying there are a decent amount of seats available
Those offer rates are accurate, but you have to remember that they over-hire to begin with, so if they give offers to 7 out of every 10 interns, there might have only been 8 spots available on average for those same 10- meaning they will have to fill the 8th spot with a FT recruit (which in most cases is an internal transfer).
Ah that makes sense. Thanks
I would add that while GS/MS/JPM will take a few kids full time, it is almost never to top groups. Openings in top groups are filled by those in worse groups, and then FT hires fill the spots in the lower groups.
