Does Your Bank Let You WFH During the Evenings?
Where I'm at currently (MM shop) we get the luxury of heading home around dinner time, once the MDs dip out, and chugging away at any additional work/comments from home. I'm contemplating a lateral move soon (want to do more M&A) and wondering if this is standard across the board or if most banks want you to actually be physically in-office until midnight still. If so I might have to reconsider my move lol
That sounds amazing tbh
Haha, so I take it that it's not standard practice where you're at?
I usually leave around 7-8pm, have dinner at home with my gf/chill till 9 then finish work into the evening. Most juniors wait till they can get their Ubers covered and then finish off at home.
This is the way.
Analysts totally fine to leave my office after 5 and WFH
which firm?
I'm at JPM, totally fine to leave at 6pm and finish at home, staffer will even roast us if he sees us staying and knows we're not that busy. Sometimes if you're slammed enough you're gonna want to just stay and finish though. If you stay past 8 you get the free taxi / uber
