Hi guys,
quick questions. I'm thinking of doing a part-time internship (Spring semester) before I start work a BB next July.
Will there be any issues? clash of interest?
I will be working at a small boutique firm doing something not I-banking but something I felt would be helpful in the industry
Any experience or advice greatly appreciated.

I did this--it wasn't a problem at a BB (ie a JP/GS/MS). I did check with my HR contact first though.
If it's just an internship (as in you're not signing an employment contract) then I don't see a problem. But why work more before starting a full-time job in July? Travel, relax, enjoy life (unless you really need the money).
