Doing real estate before banking
Hey guys, so i'm having trouble finding a finance related internship for this summer. I wanted to ask if it would look really bad to do an internship at a real estate brokerage the summer before junior year?
If it's your sophomore summer, you're doing fine. Once you have real estate experience, start pivoting and selling yourself to real estate, gaming & lodging banking groups at banks. It's been done before, but you'll have to put the effort in networking and studying.
Any internship is better than no internship. You can spin it around next year and show you learnt something
