I'm planning to join a new firm in early January. The HR called me asking for my last year's bonus so that they can make up for my 2019 bonus. I don't want to share this information, because I'm in back office, and the bonus is so low. I don't want my future employer to have any bias about my performance at my current firm or if I will be thrilled next year if I get anything higher than my current bonus. What can I do? Thank you!
