Brits shouldn't have much trouble getting the work-Visa "lottery" in the US. Personally, I would take an investment banking internship.
Not sure about Sankaty's summer program or the size of its class, but at any BB, you can be guaranteed a great experience (what you make of it) and connect with ~100 of your analyst peers.
Can always recruit for buyside when the time comes.
