Hey, I made a similar decision with full pay at these options. Being non-diverse, you may get further at ND than you would at Duke because extracurricular orgs at Duke are ridiculously competitive and a lot about who you know. Going to ND, crushing it, and standing out will honestly get you far, especially if you want an EB (only pipeline at Duke is Lazard and it’s not really a merit thing). Duke’s brand probably wins out if you are gung-ho about buyside (look at Peak Frameworks data and scout the funds you like). My main point is Duke full-price isn’t worth the marginal increase in prestige or opportunities.

idk what these people are saying- Duke definitely has a way larger presence at both and is a better school, but definitely take the money and go to Vandy.

I went to duke (ignore header) and think it blows the other two out of the water, but getting that much money at the other schools makes up the difference

Without considering money as a factor Duke places in both IB and consulting much better than Vanderbilt and Notre Dame. With that being said, Notre Dame is still solid for IB and Vanderbilt, while the weakest at IB out of the 3, does solid with consulting. Overall, you have a solid shot into IB from all three schools if you hustle, and I wouldn't pay 300k for just IB/consulting placement purposes, even though Duke's IB and consulting placement is admittedly materially better than Vanderbilt and ND.
