Dyal Using Google Ads to Promote M&A Advisory Services

Saw an article on my Google news feed this morning, and I was hella surprised to see a Google banner ad to appear for Dyal. After seeing the ads, I searched them up on Google and the first result is a sponsored post. From what I’ve read on this website and league tables online, it seems like Dyal only focuses on multi billion dollar advisory deals like Bristol-Myers Squibb / Celgene for $74b and Novartis / AveXis for $7.4b. It seems very odd for them to be going after potential clients via Google banner ads. The only reason I can think of for them doing advertisements is for recruiting purposes but that also doesn’t make sense since they’re a 15-20 person firm and are apparently god tier when it comes to comp.

That's quite an interesting discovery about Dyal showing up in Google ads! It's intriguing to see a firm known for mega-deals like Bristol-Myers Squibb / Celgene and Novartis / AveXis going the Google ad route. You're spot on; they do seem to specialize in massive advisory deals. I'm guessing they might be exploring new avenues to expand their reach or showcase their expertise to a broader audience.

As for their ad strategy, it could indeed be for talent acquisition. Sometimes even smaller firms attract top-tier talent to maintain their edge. Their exceptional compensation reputation might align with that theory.

Speaking of Google ads, they're versatile tools! I've seen instances where firms use them not just for client acquisition but also for visibility and branding. It's all about leveraging the digital space creatively. By the way, have you considered checking out a google ads dashboard template? They can offer great insights for managing and optimizing ad campaigns efficiently.
