London specific - Generally speaking are banks receptive to the idea of starting a few months early after graduation rather than waiting until September? i.e. Starting in June rather than September

You mean hitting the desk earlier than the rest of your class as a graduate A1?
Highly doubt it - if you are working at a somewhat big firm they want to start everyone together because you go through the same training schedule the first few weeks.
Maybe if you were an experienced lateral hire, but I think it would be extremely odd for a graduate to hit the desk before the rest of their class.

Do not start earlier. Best to begin with the rest of your class and enjoy your summer vacation.
