EB ASO (NY) to PE in LDN?

Title says it all - incoming Summer Associate at EB in NY, originally from the UK. How common / possible is it to recruit for PE in London after doing ~2 years as full-time ASO?

I have seen it happen must moslty for folks that had previous BB/EB IB/MBB experience. So depending on your background really. If you really have a non finance/consulting background it'll be tough.

Also renewables / infra unless you were in the space before and can model the sector will be really tough given how complex their modeling is.

Awesome, thank you so much. I spent all of my pre-MBA work experience in Renewables and did some PF modelling so hoepfully this will serve to help. Appreciate all the time you take to answer Europe related q's on here!

Have seen it happen to a couple ppl who was able to move to UMM/MFs. But they all worked directly with London-based headhunters and have some sort of ties to Europe in terms of family/ language and previous personal/ professional experience in the continent.
