EB PCA Salaries/Bonuses in London

Hello all!

I’ve recently received an offer from an EB to join their PCA team as an intern. I understand the industry fairly well (for a newcomer) and get how it differs from M&A and that the salaries bonuses are somewhat different.

The salary I was offered is significantly less than what I expected (let’s say 1.5x less than average in M&A) and it kind of took me by surprise.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m absolutely ecstatic about the opportunity (especially since I’m coming from a non-target) and my first offer was rescinded 1 month before the start date. I really liked everyone who interviewed me and the work seems really interesting compared to what I know about traditional M&A.

I was wondering if the salary increases once (and if) I get a return offer post-internship? Or is this what I can expect going forward?

Location: London

Thanks and have a good day!
