EB’s in London

Can someone rank summer analyst/analyst at all the elite boutiques for LONDON ONLY for M&A in terms of pay, culture, deal size, exit opps, working hours etc and anything else relevant? Primarily focus on M&A pls but can also touch on restructuring. Thanks.

In M&A the most active in terms of number of deals have always been Roth and Laz, although they are both pretty big in Europe. Recently CVP has been growing in particular through the hire of Pigasse in France. PJT has done some big deals but it has been year dependent. HL very active but especially in MM deals.

In terms of pay they all should be at 70k except for PJT which I have read on the forum has recently increased to 80K and historically has been the firm that has paid the highest bonuses.

For rx HL and PJT are top notch, but also Roth has been doing good.

In terms of exit options for vanilla PE I have not so many data points to discriminate between the firms, but in general they have been good. RX-focused firms have placed extremely well in distressed / HFs

Roth and Laz are probably at the top. Can't comment on culture though. Followed by PJT, PWP, EVR etc. Heard very good things about PWP and PJT culture, quite a few people stay A2A because of pay and culture. Salary should all be around 70k (except for PJT, not sure tho). Have generally seen people reject their top 3 BB offers (GS, MS, JPM) for all of the mentioned EBs
