ECM Internship
Want to really kill it and learn as much as possible during my upcoming ECM internship. Any advice on what I can be doing over the next few months in regards to learning, specific excel functions to learn, things to read, etc.?
Try and lateral to a coverage group
GlobalCapital is good. Learn FactSet.
IFR - for news on any recent deals (they recently released the magazine on winners of different deals)
Dealogic - just learn how it works
Follow the deals in the market- Douglous, Reddit, and other IPO
Bloomberg- EQS, ANR, and other key functions
Factset - how to build a formal
Be fast at writing report
