How far is the 7 train from the actual lirr station? can i get there is 7 minutes?

i need to get off there and get on the 7 train. I have 7 minutes to do so. is that possible and how far from the train station is the subway?

why wouldnt u just take the LIRR in lol prolly easier/quicker/better for multi reasons cuz u have to hope the 7 is timed properly
the lirr goes to penn. I have to get to grand central and going to penn is out of the way. would be much easier to take the lirr to hunters point and then take the 7 to manhattan
I would give yourself longer than 7 mins (LIRR station is downstairs while you need to go across that platform, cross the street, up the stairs, swipe, and then up the stairs to the subway platform).
