Email everyone?

A little bit of background I'm a junior go to a semi-traget (banks recruit, but i've only seen BO, MO internship positions and one FO) This may be because I was a marketing major until the start of this semester and maybe F.T/ SA application deadlined passed before i started applying.

Now i've gone through my alumni LinkedIN and found a few directors and executive recruiters. Now the thing is i'm not sure if the directors are either F.O, B.O. M.O. Since all it says is director for BB investment bank division. I'm still going email them for the sake of it.

But i've had a better time of finding analyst on Linkedin who didn't attended my school and in in their linked in profile they have stated which group they are in.

How would I go about emailing MD and analyst who didn't go to my school how would I find a common ground? I've searched WSO and have read success stories about cold emailing alumni and getting interviews/offers, but not much on emailing those who didn't attend the same school. How should I about emailing these type of people? and is their a way to get MD'S phone numbers maybe through the company website?

Now when it comes to Boutique banks, how do i get pass gatekeepers? I was working on a strategy when I'm about to call Boutique, I was thinking of finding a name of a analyst through LinkedIN and telling the gatekeeper I need to speak to the analyst about a 'deal' and then explaining my situation. Good idea or bad? would the person get pissed because I lied to speak to them?
