Email from alumnus
My teammate recieved an email from an alumnus and passed if on to us that a rather large bank is holding an info session on campus about the application process. It says for people to come if they are interested in an internship or a full time job, and the email later mentions that they are hiring December 2011-may 2013 graduated students. I'm currently a freshman, so I obviously don't fit in that range for a full time, but none of those people would be looking for summer internships I'm assuming. Tthen again, I know I'm a freshman and I'm not going to get an internship there without serious connections. Is it worth emailing him back saying something trying to build a connection or going (when presumably many FT hopefully will be there) thanks.
