English major at Oxford University - Can I get into IB or consultancy
I'm a female at Oxford studying English. I'm trying to change my course to PPE, I stellar marks but it's probably gonna be pretty difficult honestly. If I'm an English major but I have finance/banking internships (barclay's) do u think I have a chance at IB or at least consultancy
Banks are now focusing a lot on diversity. You check both boxes by being a 1) female 2) English major.
Oxford's also a target school for London BBs.
You also have internships in FIs (like Barclays), so I think you have a solid chance for both IB or consulting.
