EqV - EV Bridge and other technicals in theory and on the job

Just wondering, how did it go for you guys with technical tasks as an AN1?

Like the Equity Value - EV Bridge. Easy in theory, but I feel like I have no idea what to include when I have an annual report in front of me. Did you guys nailed it from day one, or did you feel like you learned a lot on the job by asking your fellow Analysts and Associates?

Just an example, obviously the same with other modeling and valuation tasks.

Is there a good way to practice, is there some good literature to learn more?
