Have around 2 years of ER experience, 3.5 total YOE experience. I know there is a potential path to MM/LMM PE from my current role with the help of networking. I wouldn’t mind that as long as the pay wasn’t super discounted to UMM/MF, especially since the WLB may be better.
In the case that I had to switch into IB first, how would my experience be discounted? Would I have to start as an analyst 1 in a class with people 4 years or so younger?
