Essential online courses for IB role?

I just graduated high school and I'm going to university later this year. There is a pretty cool analyst training camp position available at a student-led investment fund and the competition for this position is forecasted to be pretty tough. There's only a handful of places, so I want to use my summer holidays really well and get ahead of the chase.

I think one way to prove myself is to complete an online IB training course. I've seen some Excel, Powerpoint training courses online but I'm not sure which ones to go for? What's the "best for your buck" online training courses for those aiming for a role in IB?

I've seen the WSO and BIWS being mentioned. Which ones are the "must-do" courses? I'm a student, so I don't have a massive budget to spend on the full packages...

You really don't have to pay for good finance content online at this point. Also, why the focus on IB training courses? You can learn about finance from other sources that don't cost money. Like the person above mentioned, CFI's great. Also look at courses on Coursera, specifically Yale's Financial Markets and Wharton's Intro to Accounting and Intro to Corporate Finance classes. You can take them for free by auditing the classes
