European Investment Bank Salary Bumps?
Hi everyone,
Given the current climate in the UK of high inflation, rising energy bills and the fact that some US banks have raised their analyst salaries to £70,000, is there any visibility on whether the larger European Banks, i.e. Barclays/Deutsche Bank/Credit Suisse/UBS etc., will be raising their analyst base salaries this year?
Thanks!
They should but not much progress done so far I think. Only Barclays has raised to 66k
What is your source for the number?
Do you know when this increase happened?
Are you sure that isn't base + signing bonus?
Incoming A1 at UBS. Haven't heard anything about a bump but hopefully we do soon

Rothschild apparently bumps from 62/67/72.5 -> 65/75/80.
Lmfao, GS, PJT, PWP and others have 80k base for An1
They're at £70k - you really think London gets dollar parity lol? FT Partners are the only ones remotely close to 80.
It's odd how Rothschild makes more in the UK but pays more in the US. By the numbers in that article, an An3 in London makes the same as an An1 in New York.
Meh - still make 75-80% of their counterparts across the pond. The equivalent fig. in consulting/tech would be closer to 50%. UK salaries are just lower.
Guess I have to go across the pond
