Evaluating Corp Dev Offer

Hi - I am currently evaluating a Corporate Development job offer with a PE-owned portfolio company, and was just wondering if this seemed like a good offer based on standard market conditions and my background, or if they are low-balling me here. For reference, this is a non-Tech company in SF/NYC.

My Background: One year of experience as an Investment Banking Associate at an EB and two years of Analyst experience at a BB with good, industry-relevant M&A + financing creds on my resume. No MBA.

The Offer: $150k + 10-20% Target Bonus with a Manager title

Additionally, was also wondering what kind of career progression I should expect or target. Is 2-3 years generally the norm at the Manager level before getting the bump to Director, or is there typically another few years at the Senior Manager level?

I was in a corp fin role (not corp dev) for a year and a half and am going back to PE now, and that's in ballpark for what you'd often expect. Omna Search (spun out of Opus to focus on corporate roles only) has this guide as well which puts your comp in the right range: https://uploads-ssl.webflow.com/60d3714fa3f1ca44956827ad/611c4093314079…

As far as career progression goes you'll probably have to be promoted to Sr. Manager first before Director. How fast that is will depend on maturity of the company and how strict they are with titling, but I'd be surprised if you got the straight Manager -> Director promote.
