What is your opinion on Houlihan Lokey? Evercore > Houlihan in Frankfurt or rather Houlihan?
Different angle - HL is more commoditised. You will see more deals in smaller size with more simple structure, especially those plain vanilla ones with PEs. As an analyst, you may close several deals within one year.
Evercore is doing complex and large cap deals mostly. However, they are not easy to be closed.
Interview with HL and had the way better feeling compared to Evercore, had a weird feeling with them
