Evercore private capital advisory?
Hi monkeys
Can anyone elaborate on what this team does? How transferable is the PE skill set to this role?

Career Resources
They do secondary advisory for financial sponsors and provide liquidity solutions for LPs for their private assets. Fast growing space and EVR are the market leaders. Most likely will be one of the most innovative and fastest growing spaces in IB/PE.
Do you know if they hire MBA associates?
bump, were you able to find out if this is a viable post-MBA path?

Late follow up but do you know anything about the Structuring Capital Solutions (SCS) team within their PCA group? In terms of what they do and types of deals they'd run.
SCS employs various forms of structured ABS to create innovative capital and liquidity solutions for private markets issuers and investors. Specifically, you'd be working on deals involving Collateralized fund obligations (CFOs).
I believe they work on both gp and lp advisory, and is one of the leading advisors in the pca space

Is their PCA group considered part of IB/strategic advisory? I know at other banks PCA would be considered under the IB umbrella but Evercore's practice appears to be a somewhat siloed. Does the group do any M&A for PE clients?
It is a product group (ex: ECM, DCM, PCA) within investment banking at Evercore.
Do they target specific backgrounds? Fund formation and M&A lawyer at a top firm in NYC interested in the group.
Any idea of comps in that field?
