Evercore Restructuring London
Hi everybody, just wanted to ask on any insights on the RX practice of Evercore in Europe. I know they are not super established but seem to be growing. Would appreciate any insights into what they are doing etc. Thanks!

About 12 folks from what I heard. Do mostly debtor mandates at least that is what they say
Worst culture across all RX teams in London. They work 24/7/365 but rarely get mandated on any meaningful deals, especially if they’re competing with HL & the likes. Nothing to do with NY team. Only positive is the good name as it’s associated with the US guys. Other than that I’d stay away. I’ve been on the same pitches with them a few times and we or other firms got mandated. I don’t think they ever got one
Could someone throw some light on the group? Is it really that bad?
Had an interview recently: Team seems quite nice and chill imo would be great to get more input on stuff they are working on (apparently a mix of EMEA, Africa and Asia)
