thi sis the worst. question spamming is painful when it comes in like 12 different e-mails, all within 30 minutes.

it's a living..
I work with an associate who sends seperate emails full of exclamation points for every single question he has or mistake he finds. Makes weekends fun.
I never found it particularly annoying, as I could just check off emails as I did the task but I can see how it could piss people off.
One trick I saw another analyst do was to take it to the next level:
VP: Did you change the header on slide 22? Analyst: Not yet, but I will soon. 5 min. later. Analyst: Done.
He did that for every single email the guy sent - it was hilarious but could not have helped his performance review.
We have a VP around here who will literally send stream of consciousness-style emails. Once sentence at a time, with honestly upward of 8-10 per minute. Was working one night with said VP and in a 2.5 hour span got 76 emails from that one person.
don't know if any banking pet peeve could truly be the biggest, but lately the one that's gotten me the most is out-of-the-blue e-mails that say "give me a call."
You're at your desk, you want to initiate contact, why not call me? Why do I need to dial your extension instead of you dialing my extension?
