Everyone on this forum is a vagine and banking really isn’t even that bad

As non-coders, we are compensated more than any other college graduate in the career universe. Sure, we have to deal with egotistical seniors and turn petty comments until 2am - but living on a $200k graduate salary in the best city(s) in the world & having to give up a couple extra hours of sleep a night is an absolute privilege

I tend to agree - as someone who got into banking later / older, let me assure you that the corporate world is full of egotistical seniors and stupid admin work.  You work less but also get paid a LOT less and there are no three-year promotion cycles.  You just hope the person above you gets fired or moves on.  People often act like they were forced to choose banking with a gun to their heads or that no one told them banking had bad hours before they started.
