Examples of successful people who started in IB?
Does anyone have favorite notable examples of people that began their careers out of undergrad with banking? It appears that much of the upper echelon of the financial world/etc. actually started in other roles, was curious to see examples of notable people in any field that decided to start in front office investment banking.
Me.
Very hard to think of one. That’s what you get when you keep trying to have your options open in your 20s. 2+2+2? There’s thousands of people who started specializing in coding at 12–those are the people who you always hear about being billionaires. And here you are at 28 not knowing what the fuck to do besides being a generalist. Exit ops is for fucking losers.
