excel 2007 used at BB banks?
Just curious if the larger investment banks have upgraded to office 2007?
My buy-side firm is about to upgrade and i've heard that excel and PPT 2007 are horrible.
really not looking forward to the switch...

i know that most firms already made the switch.
once you get used to it, they work great.
Hm, at the following firms it is 2003: MS, BOA, DB
I know that CS has made the switch.
Keep in mind this is mostly for research/sales people since those are the only people I really talk to about office software at those firms, and also only for certain groups
maybe its just the smaller banks then..laz, mb, evr
anyway..does jpmorgan still use lotus?
I'm pretty sure they still do. One of my friends was bitching about it about a week ago, so I'd assume so.
I like the new ppt and xls much better. However, it took some time to get used to. I could not go back to the old version. Vista sucks balls though.
UBS is still 2003.
GS is 2007. BoA is 2003, sigh.
GS: 2007, Citi/UBS: 2003
