I am 1st year MBA, who would be interning at a BB this summer. During my second year, I want to do an exchange program abroad. Given the market conditions right now, would it be a good idea to do that?
Specifically, do you guys think banks will be giving less FT offers to their summer interns this year? When does most of the FT recuiting happen - fall or winter?
FT recruitment starts in Fall. You should definitely look to go on exchange. Banks will likely take most of their FT requirement from summer classes, so work hard!
