But running group specific searches is not really possible because a lot of people simply write "investment banking analyst at xxx." So then I'm seeing firms as a whole.

Which interviews will you get? Almost all of them, unless you've got a crappy resume or there is otherwise something derogatory on your candidacy (e.g., didn't present well when meeting headhunters, etc).
search for "investment banking analyst" "firm name" "group name"
ALOT of people put their group in the description portion that you can only see in a profile view.
