To hijack the thread, how would one go about transferring from a MM to a BB bank as an analyst?

I'm based in London, so the MBA route isn't so entrenched I don't think.

Would it make sense to think about looking for BB opportunities after the first year, or second year? Pros and cons for each?

Do BB banks look down on MM's? What angle would I use to sell myself?
