F500 Finance Positions

I was wondering what everyone thinks the best way to apply for F500 finance jobs is? Do they actually hire through their online application sites or do you really have to go through contacts? And are they still hiring for full time for this year's graduating class or have they already filled their positions? What are F500 finance interviews like, anything like i-banking interviews or not? Thanks guys, any help would be great.

Are you talking about finance rotational programs? I interviewed for several F500 companies for their finance rotational programs, and I received interviews via on-campus recruiting. As to your question regarding interview setup, they are mostly fit-based/behavioral. Nothing compared to i-banking, which I had interviews for.

I applied online for a Corp. Fin position and was called the next day for a first round interview. I think Gomi was right about the typical rotational positions only recruiting, unless of course you have an alumni/family connection. The interview was nothing like i-banking interviews, though the first 30 minutes was about my ibanking experience (was let go in July). I think my interview would be similar to a consulting interview, very case study-esq intensive. I don't know how your modeling experience is, but there was some modeling questions in my interview (knowledge, what I have built, etc.).
