Failed module before applications (UK)!
I'm going into my second year of an Econ major degree in a target UK university. I got a 2:1 overall in first year but failed one optional accounting module.
Most firms ask to upload an academic transcript, where it shows I have failed this module, despite me having the prerequisite grade to apply.
How in-depth do investment banking recruiters look at transcripts submitted?
Hello! Fellow British Monkey here.
For SA positions, transcripts should be optional. As long as you have the 2;1, that is all they will care about...
FT recruitment is tougher, but you should be fine!
Don't worry, we all have bad modules, but what really matters is the final grade :)
