Please any insight in to the FBR Capital Markets interview process for IBD. Questions? Technicals? Insight into culture, atmosphere, pay, exit opps? Any information would be great thanks...
For summer analyst it was 6 interviews, none technical. They really wanted to find out if you would come to D.C. versus NYC.

I am meeting with Friedman Billings and Ramsey.
Anyone have any thoughts on them that would be helpful for me before going into talk to them?
I only really know whats on their website.
What role are you interviewing for and is it Analyst, Associate, or lateral?

FBR??? They still exist? They’re a penny stock. Of the 3 principles (F & R), only one remains.
For what its worth, I hear the main dude (Billings) is a religious guy.
Are you S&T or IBD? The IB guys I know there said it's mostly fit. Are you from UVA or VT? They seem to be the schools that FBR hires from most.
Out of curiosity, how are you interviewing for this now? It seems too early for full-time recruiting.
