FDD received corporate finance analyst offer, not sure if I should take it.
Currently in financial due diligence at a big4 firm, but received an offer to be a corporate finance analyst for a corporate as they are undergoing a transaction.
It's a PE backed company in the hospitality industry looking to sell, but my focus has been more on the energy space to date. Pretty small team so duties include updating forecast models, ownership of the P&L, capex forecasting, etc.
Not sure if I should take the offer or not as it's only a 12 month contract (because of the sale), exit opps may be limited. It's also an international opportunity oversea's so could be fun. Money is more than I am making now (given big4 don't like to pay you anything), but it's not a huge increase. I am most concerned about what do I do after.
Any thoughts?
