Finance Clubs at USC as a transfer

Hello everyone,

I was admitted recently to the spring semester as a transfer student to Marshall (ill be entering my sophomore spring). I've been preparing to recruit for investment banking roles, recruiting starts sophomore spring as well. I know that TIS (Trojan Investment Society) and TFA (Trojan Finance Academy) have fall-only programs, so how difficult is it for clubs and networking/breaking into high finance roles while starting in spring as a sophomore?

Would appreciate any insight or advice!

Not difficult if you can make friends, carry organic articulate conversations, and not be weird.

Just make friends by going to events and talking to people you find interesting, and always ask more questions, not in an annoying way, then you respond to questions.

Recruitment for TFA and TIS leaders will be wrapped up by the time you get on campus. With how early recruitment timelines have gotten, would recommend doing most of your networking and prep during the fall semester, as if you start at the beginning of Spring, you would likely be too late.
