Finance to IB

I am in my second year at LSE and I wasn't able to secure a banking summer internship. My end goal is investment banking. I secured a finance intern role at a firm for the summer, with rotation across actuary, tax, audit, investor relations etc. What do I do now? When third year comes around and all applications begin to open, shall I apply to competitive ib grad schemes or shall I reapply to summer internships saying I am doing MSc. I am really confused right now and any tips would be appreciated. I really do not want to work as a grad at my summer intern firm, and right now some experience is better than no experience. Thanks.
