Why didn't you get a SA position? Honestly I wouldn't even bother applying to BB's, I'd just start running around and meeting with everyone and anyone that would talk to you. M&I has a post about a guy breaking into PE from undergrad, the info from that is definitely applicable to IB as well. Your only hope is to network your ass off.
And use the shit out of the few IB connections your school has. Make sure you read everything you can at M&I about do's and don'ts of networking, you can't afford to fuck up it sounds like.
