First recruiter call

Just finished up my SA role at a MM boutique in their top group, where I'll be going back for full time next year. l recently got reached out to by a recruiter about a role that seems like something I'd be interested two years down the road (MM PE). I was wondering what I should expect from an initial phone call with the recruiter - will it be informal, how should I prepare, should I treat it like an interview? What are the typical next steps after the call, and what types of things should I ask about the fund? Also, given I literally just finished up my SA role, how soon would the interview process start? Seems like it's super early even given the accelerated timelines over the last few years. Would appreciate any insight / advice, thanks.
