First round invite, never saw it

Hello all. I had a first round invite the first week of April for a MM firm however my email was hacked and didn't recover it until today. Is it too late to respond and tell my situation? The firm is in a satellite office but is a well respected MM.

From the title of your post, it sounds like you never saw the invitation at all as it came in after you lost access to the inbox.

As I'm sure you can understand, this is a highly unusual situation. You can email your contact at the MM to tell them that you lost access to the inbox, but it's been a month, and there's a 95%+ chance that they've moved on with other candidates.

If you had had the good fortune of knowing about the invite, the best move would have been to contacted someone over LinkedIn. Technically, you could have done that in any case, but that's maybe expecting a bit much. Sorry to hear about this.

Very likely a no a whole month later... worth emailing HR with a short explanation and ask if they are still recruiting but I'll go ahead and say 99% chance they don't respond or say no

Unfortunate situation, but you can't believe how much bad behavior we see from the other side that makes you not interested in these legitimate situations... candidates rescheduling 15 min out, just never showing up to interviews, and trying to move already-scheduled superdays for bad reasons (I have class or doctor's appointment). You stop believing stuff because you can't tell who is telling the truth and there's dozens of qualified kids who showed up on time
