Good post buddy, a whole lot of context to work off of here.
general question. Does it need much context? Is it acceptable to say that after meeting most of the people from the group over a past month or so?
If you previously interviewed with the firm and wanted to send a follow-up thank you note expressing idea of a "good fit" that would be fine. However, after a month if the relationship has not materialized into an offer I think it would be innapropriate to contact the group with such a comment.
I know it is a general question but without any context it is difficult to form an opinion. At least its Friday.
well you're going to send thank you notes regardless i hope. The person with whom you made the best connection with, write it to them. It's a personal compliment and you never know who really might be able to help you!
i see your point. Sorry, I guess it did need more context. It's not really that simple but the influences acting for and against me are different. So... communicating with the influence that is acting on my behalf I think it might actually be unnecessary to say what I wanted to.
I am between a rock and the bureaucratic red tape.
