Forgot to take pre-internship assessment... Screwed?
Forgot to take the preinternship assessment (accounting/excel/etc) sent out by HR. Training week starts Monday. How bad is this?

It's beyond your control at this point, but don't take training lightly. Apparently my shop, at least some people, did pay attention how people performed during training last year. I was surprised to hear one associate telling me that he heard I was doing well on training.
Obviously your actual performance for 8-9 weeks would matter much more significantly, but don't leave (potentially) unnecessary negative impressions from the beginning. Summer is relatively a short period to leave an impression to get an offer, so try best not to f*ck up on small things.
My two cents.
Know a kid who didn't get an offer cause he failed to complete some BS compliance/HR test. You've been warned.
Missing deadline for psychometric test help (Originally Posted: 09/19/2016)
So i've been in the hospital for the past few days and the deadline for my psychometric test for Citi group is today, however i'm nowhere near prepared for it.
Should I call them and explain the situation in hopes of them extending the deadline? Or should I just give it a shot (most likely fail) and waste it?

What if I got an associate to push my resume through later this month? We're meeting in person after Christmas. This is for HK SA
I suppose you could try contacting HR (if you have their contact info) and pleading your case, but most likely, you're shit out of luck.
