I am interning and found a serious data error on an equity. Someone at the firm told me Bloomberg will pay you if you notify them so they can correct it?

These are common across all market data providers. If I had 10 cents for every piece of stale or incorrect data I found in Bloomberg/FactSet/CapIQ during my daily dealings I would probably have like 70 cents.
