When did you last talk to them?
I would most certainly wait. It is a positive note you were not among that round of rejections. If they want you, they will let you know when they are ready.
i interviewed with them exactly one week ago.
had a follow up email after, and one of the banker said theyll get back this week.
just nervous
hang on bud! I wanted 8 days for my BB offer.
You not getting cut yet is good news....
haha. thanks for the encouragement . i guess bankers are on vacation
How long does it typically take for banks to get back with offer decisions? My friend recently went through an early interview process with a BB, and he has not heard back. I heard that if they want the candidate, they will typically get back to him the day of or the day after - especially with early interviews that tend to want to finalize the process more quickly.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
It depends on the bank. Some banks (usually smaller boutiques) might get back to you in a couple days, but normally I'd expect to wait 7-14 days to hear back. In some cases it may be longer, but if you haven't heard in two weeks from your final interview, I'd follow up with an email and/or phone call.
Why are you typing frd? That just looks retarded...
Bank is probably seeing who from the SA class takes their offers.
Is this lateral hire?
Probably seeing if the better candidates take their offers before moving down the list.
