From REPE to Non-RE IB

Currently in one of the top-tier Asian funds in REPE (think of Invesco, PAG); interned with BB IBD How hard would it be if I want to go back to investment banking (non-RE group or M&A) Rationale is that it's nearly impossible to transfer from REPE to Traditional PE, so I am thinking about going back to Bulge Bracket first and make the transition afterwards
