If you, TODAY, had a full-time general IBD offer from UBS and CS, and knew you would not be able to get into CS Sponsors (but could potentially get into any other group at either bank) which would you choose/why? I know this has been discussed but some of the threads are kind of dated
Thanks so much!

Well I think if u are doing general and can get the better groups i.e. healthcare at ubs or fig at cs or anything else outside of sponsors. I would just go with which people you really liked best, for me it was CS, but I mean its up to you and who you met.
Both are close, but in the US, CS has always been stronger than UBS (especially nowadays). If given the choice, I would go for CS.
If your offer is for Asia or Europe, I would go for UBS though.
