FT offer length
A friend of mine received an offer letter from a MM but its states that the contract is only valid for 2 full year of analyst as part of a graduate program. Then he would be kept (or not) and promoted to Associate.
I was wondering if this is common or if it is really specific to this firm?
Are your offer letters usually for an infinite amount of time or only 2 or 3 years?
Thanks!
Offer letter from my EB set forth a "2 year minimum commitment" per the Analyst program structure.
I've heard of similar 2 year clauses to the one you are referring to, so I'd say it's fairly common.
Is this not the norm? I'll be honest I didn't read my contract all the way through but I was under the impression its 2 years with some places doing a 3rd.
If I remember correctly mine had that too. I think it’s pretty standard.
