Only thing about FT Partners is I don’t want to funnel myself into fintech-only exit ops.

Ideally seeking BB Associate (after completing analysts stint at a firm to a similar level as the ones mentioned in the thread) > MBA > PE/Corp Dev route

If you're interested in going over to a BB, take a look at Linkedin at the placements of ftp analysts. Large presence in citi, barclays, gs and others for their core tmt groups.

You also have a strong presence of fintech growing over the past year with firms you'll recognize like Robinhood, Square, Coinbase, Stripe, Kabbage all being fintech. It's not a space you should dismiss so easily.

Lastly as someone who's been in the industry, PE vs Corp Dev route is drastically different. I'd recommend straying away from placing them together in a mind set of planned exit opps. As mentioned before, both are good and the fact you're able to secure offers from both firms indicates you're a strong analyst/candidate. Take it step by step and where ever you go you'll encounter success.
